This is my fourth year living in Rehoboth Beach and my first year  full time. I'm a transplant from northern Pennsylvania, Scranton to be exact and I was amazed at how many people are down here during the summer time, especially on the eastern shore in Ocean City but I was down there today on a business meeting and the place is a complete ghost town. none of the good restaurants were open for lunch and most had signs that said "open Dec 27th-Jan 1st" only.

I wasn't aware that there were so many local businesses and restaurants that closed down for the winter. It's going to be a really boring winter here. I'm starting to think I shouldn't have sold my house in PA and made this my full time residence.

Dewey Beach, where I live is also a ghost town with most of the summer folk gone back to wherever they live the rest of the year. It's actually kind of nice to have a break from all the college kids.
